Tip: All Soap n’ Goods soaps are produced in small batches using the cold process method to protect their valuable ingredients. There may be slight visual differences from batch to batch. Soap n’ Goods-ACV & Laurel Soap 55gr

Rub the soap into wet hair creating a lather. Apply by massaging on the head. Rinse with water.

Tip: After using the shampoo, rinse your hair with a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water (usually one cap of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water is enough) to restore the pH of your scalp and remove any shampoo residue. This works as a conditioner, so you don’t need to use any additional conditioner afterwards.

Nice soap, feels gentle and cleans well. I wish it was a bit bigger though. Came fast from Panabeau, so no complaints there. Honestly, this was a pleasant surprise!

Soap works great and smells good, but my bar had a tiny crack when it arrived. Not a big deal, still using it and quite happy with the results. It quickly became part of my daily routine.

Olive oil infused with bay leaves and berries, Coconut oil, Apple cider vinegar, Shea butter, Castor oil

Can I use ACV & Laurel Soap on both my hair and body?

Absolutely! One of the best things about the ACV & Laurel Soap is its versatility. It’s designed to be gentle and effective for both hair and body, so you don’t need separate products. The laurel oil helps cleanse your scalp and hair naturally, while the apple cider vinegar (ACV) balances the pH, making it hair-friendly. Plus, the nourishing oils like olive, coconut, and shea butter keep your skin feeling soft and hydrated. So, whether you want a quick shower with one soap or prefer to simplify your routine, this soap has got you covered.

Is this soap suitable for sensitive or acne-prone skin?

Great question! Laurel oil is known for its soothing and antibacterial properties, which can be really helpful if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin. The ACV in the soap also helps balance your skin’s pH, which is key for keeping breakouts at bay. That said, everyone’s skin reacts differently, so if you’re prone to irritation, it’s a good idea to patch test first. Because this soap is made with natural, gentle ingredients and cold-processed to preserve their benefits, it’s usually a safe bet for sensitive skin types. Just remember to avoid overly hot water, which can dry out sensitive skin.

How often should I use this soap on my hair? Will it dry my scalp?

You can use the ACV & Laurel Soap as often as you like—daily use is perfectly fine for most people. Thanks to the balancing effect of apple cider vinegar, it’s less likely to dry out your scalp compared to conventional shampoos. The nourishing oils in the formula also help keep your hair moisturized. If you’re new to natural soaps, your scalp might go through a short adjustment period, but after that, most folks find their hair feels cleaner and healthier. Just a quick tip: after shampooing, try rinsing your hair with a diluted apple cider vinegar mix to boost shine and scalp health—no conditioner needed!

What makes ACV & Laurel Soap different from regular shampoo bars or liquid shampoos?

What sets this soap apart is the unique combo of laurel oil and apple cider vinegar infused right into the oils before the soap is made. Unlike many shampoo bars that add ingredients after the soap is formed, this cold process method locks in the natural benefits from the start. Laurel oil offers gentle cleansing and scalp care, while ACV balances pH and adds shine. Plus, the blend of olive, coconut, castor oils, and shea butter means you’re getting a moisturizing treat rather than a stripping wash. The fact that it’s handmade in small batches also means you’re getting a fresh, thoughtfully crafted product—something you don’t always find in mass-produced shampoos.

Can I use this soap if I have colored or chemically treated hair?

Yes, you can! The ACV & Laurel Soap is mild and pH-balanced thanks to the apple cider vinegar, which helps maintain your hair’s natural acidity—a big win for colored or chemically treated hair. Many commercial shampoos can strip color or leave treated hair dry and brittle, but this soap’s nourishing oils help protect and hydrate your strands. Just keep in mind that everyone’s hair reacts differently, so you might want to monitor how your color holds up initially. Using the ACV rinse after washing can also help lock in color and add extra shine.

Are there any certifications or safety assurances for this soap?

The good news is that Soap n’ Goods focuses on natural, high-quality ingredients and traditional cold process methods to keep everything pure and effective. While this specific soap may not carry formal certifications like organic or cruelty-free seals, the brand emphasizes small-batch, handmade production without harsh chemicals or synthetic additives. This means you’re getting a cleaner, safer product compared to many mass-market options. Plus, since it’s made with familiar, skin-friendly ingredients like olive oil, coconut oil, and shea butter, it’s generally very safe for most users. Always check the ingredient list if you have specific allergies, though!

How should I store ACV & Laurel Soap to make it last longer?

To get the most out of your soap bar, it’s best to keep it dry between uses. Water pooling around the soap can cause it to soften and melt away faster, which nobody wants! Instead of classic soap dishes, which often collect water, try placing it on a slotted soap saver or a well-draining surface that lets air circulate. Also, pick a spot away from direct water streams in the shower. Since the soap is handmade in small batches and packed with natural oils, a little extra care will help it last and stay fresh longer. Your hair and skin (and your wallet) will thank you!
