This formula is very well tolerated by the majority of people. Natural deodorant users should be aware that baking soda has an alkaline pH while the skin’s pH is slightly acidic. This is the reason why some people –usually with very sensitive skin- can have skin irritation after using a soda-containing deodorant. An advice for anyone using containing deodorants for a long time is to occasionally rinse with a vinegar-water solution for a faster pH balancing.
